The Role: Warehouse & AV Technician

Bigabox Productions are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Technician. You will join our friendly, enthusiastic team and play an integral role in ensuring we continue to deliver an outstanding service to our clients.

Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage in addition to hands on experience working with a variety of AV equipment including LED Video, Lighting and Audio. You should be organised with a keen eye for detail. Clear and effective communication with the ability to work well as part of a larger team and individually.

The role will include prepping and de-prepping our latest video and lighting equipment to ensure the highest standards on every project. This is a great opportunity to join our growing warehouse team and would suit either someone that doesn’t want to be onsite anymore or someone who is looking for a new challenge in their career.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for prepping and de-prepping a wide range of audio visual and lighting equipment.
• Ensuring that equipment is tested (including PAT testing) and prepped to the highest standards.
• Using our internal system to manage daily and weekly job schedules.
• Adhere to health and safety policies, procedure and risk assessments and be proactive in implementing them.
• Ensuring equipment is checked in and out of the warehouse accurately and on schedule.

Technical Skills

• Proven technical skills within the lighting, audio and video industry. A key advantage would be previous maintenance experience.
• Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and our in-house asset management system (Current RMS/Rentman).
• Working knowledge of an internal e-mail system and electronic diary is essential.
