Bigabox Productions are on the look out for someone new! After a strange year for the events industry, the buzz is well and truly back and due to increased workload, we are looking for an AV Warehouse Technician.

About Bigabox:

Bigabox Production is a technical event production company bringing innovative design and technical precision to events in the UK, Europe and USA. We provide full production services for live concerts, conferences, exhibitions, brand activations, fashion & award shows. We also offer full trade services including dry hire of our equipment. We provide premium technical production including video, lighting, audio, lasers and special effects. 

About the role:

Due to a continuing rise of live projects in the UK, Europe and beyond we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our fantastic team. You will provide support to our warehouse in Stevenage and our internal events team as AV Warehouse Technician. This is an exciting role that exposes you to so many aspects of event delivery; Both in house and on site for live events. You will be required to manage daily logistics, perform regular maintenance on our kit and prep and pack equipment for live shows and events. Working on site, you will be required to support the team with the setup of our equipment and AV or lighting systems and then de-rig all events once completed. It is important that you are confident in a client facing manner as you will be required to collect and deliver equipment to our venue staff and clients.

What you need:

• You must hold a FULL UK Driving License
• You must have a good working knowledge of Video, Audio, Lighting and Special FX equipment used in the event industry. Previous experience as a warehouse technician or manager within an AV sector is essential.
• You will be familiar with the hours worked within the events industry and happy to commit to our sectors needs
• You will have a positive, can do attitude that is ready to work with a team of awesome people!
• Must have a naturally proactive manner – You will be working in a fast paced industry
• You will be highly organised with great time management
• Possess a desire to learn and develop within the company
• Be a team player that tackles tasks and challenges in busy periods in calm and strategic manner
