The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world’s largest trade fair for books, based both on the number of publishing companies represented, and the number of visitors. It is considered to be the most important book fair in the world for international deals and trading. The five-day annual event in mid-October is held at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The first three days are restricted exclusively to professional visitors; the general public attend the fair on the weekend.
Bigabox installed their flexible 3.9mm LED Video solution into a custom designed and built steel structure with mezzanine. The Curved LED installation enveloped the upper level providing a 300 degree canvas for all visitors and patrons to see. Using our own custom build software and servers we displayed twitter and other social feeds simultaneously. So successful was the installation and content delivery that we continued the same installation at the London Book Fair, Olympia for 2 consecutive years.
