We are looking for a Warehouse event prep & de-prep technician to join our growing and talented team in Biggleswade.

We bring a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, award shows, concerts & festivals and media events in the UK and Europe.
The Role Summary:
This role suits an individual with proven technical skills within the event industry specifically with Moving Lights, LED, SFX, Audio and Control equipment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to the procedures laid out. Good interpersonal skills are required to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and the wider team. It is essential that the candidate is organised, methodical and has a flexible working ethic. A knowledge and enthusiasm for repairing AV equipment and LED Video would be advantageous. We can offer training in-house for AV repairs and maintenance.
Job Specification:
- Ensure that all equipment is prepped for jobs leaving on hire or live events.
- Ensure that all equipment is de-prepped post event or hire.
- Check and maintain all equipment and accessories that leaves and returns from jobs.
- Follow the procedures laid out and adhere to the Hires Processing System.
- Help, when necessary, with all general workshop duties including, but not restricted to, loading and unloading of vehicles, maintaining a safe and tidy workspace, manufacture of custom equipment and general assistance of other Warehouse Teams.
- Notify the team of any necessary repairs, service & maintenance of equipment post return from jobs/hires.
- You may be required to work onsite occasionally, as part of the Bigabox project delivery team (on an overtime capacity) – Normal working hours are 9-5:30 Monday – Friday.
- Maintain and enhance the quality of the Bigabox service & ensure good customer satisfaction. Bigabox are certified in ISO9001 for quality and services and we are working towards ISO14001.
- Maintain Bigabox confidentiality at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety policies, procedure and risk assessments and be proactive in implementing them
- Be prepared to work overtime when required to.
- Available to work extended hours & weekends (TOIL / Overtime is available)
Technical Skills
- Proven technical skills within the lighting, audio and video industry
- Proven experience with maintenance checks and procedure, ability to manage this process for all Bigabox kit.
- Attention to detail, adherence to the procedures laid out within the Hire Processing System and the desire to strive to improve these processes.
- Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and our in- house asset management system (Current RMS).
- Working knowledge of an internal e-mail system and electronic diary is essential.

Salary
It is our aim to be an inclusive organisation, committed to providing equal opportunities in the recruitment, training, and development of our employees.
£25,000 to £28,500 per annum depending on experience, with plenty of other benefits including further professional development & courses.
