Ready for the Road; Touring bands and engineers can take their sound to the next level with SQ-Rack. Mix front-of-house (FOH) and monitors with ease, all while enjoying portability and reliability in every gig.

World-Class FX by Allen & Heath. They have a well-earned reputation for crafting FX emulations that rival the very best plug-ins, but with none of the associated hassle. SQ-Rack is armed with 8 stereo FX engines and features the acclaimed RackExtra library of emulations of legendary classic reverbs, gated reverbs, delays, modulators and more. All FX have dedicated stereo returns, so you don’t need to consume input channels.

A New Standard in Compact Digital Mixing

48 channel, 96kHz rackmount digital mixer for live sound, AV and installation.

SQ-Rack is the ultimate tool for audio professionals, delivering Allen & Heath’s renowned 96kHz SQ core in a compact, rack-mountable design. Perfectly crafted to meet the demands of live sound and installation environments, SQ-Rack combines power, flexibility, and intuitive control in one versatile solution.

96kHz XCVI Processing – SQ-Rack is built on Allen & Heath’s renowned 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine, delivering exceptional high-resolution audio quality, ultra-low latency of <0.7ms and variable bit depths for optimised dynamic range. XCVI allows SQ to handle 48 input channels at 96kHz, with massive mix headroom thanks to a 96bit accumulator, and the sheer power to embed our acclaimed DEEP plugins into all 48 input channels and all mixes.

No Faders? No Problem! Despite SQ-Rack’s faderless design, there are no compromises when it comes to control.

The SQ-Rack’s faders screen provides instant access to level controls, plus 8 SoftKeys and 4 Soft Rotaries – all assignable with LCD displays – so you get to choose which functions you have at your fingertips.

The SQ MixPad app for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS provides access to the SQ-Rack’s mixing functions from anywhere in the venue, with an offline mode allowing preparation of scenes or shows away from the venue.

For less technical users, the SQ-Control app provides simplified access in-app in addition to a dedicated screen on the SQ-Rack itself. SQ-Control can be configured by an admin user to deliver just the right amount of control for each application or dry hire, whether that’s single fader control of background music from behind the bar or controlling live stream levels in a House of Worship.

All The Power You Need! Every input has HPF, a super-fast gate with sidechain and filter, a musical 4-band parametric equaliser with RTA, and Peak/RMS compressor for control and shaping of levels and transients. Mixes have both a parametric and 28 band graphic EQ along with compressor as standard, all ready to switch in when required.
