Bigabox Productions delivered the complete technical production for Central Park Brighton, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event space located on Brighton Marina and operating across five weeks.
The venue was used as a major fan zone for England matches during the World Cup, alongside a wider programme of live music, DJs and entertainment. With multiple event formats taking place throughout the five-week run, the site required a robust production setup capable of supporting live broadcasts, artists and changing technical requirements.
Bigabox Productions designed, supplied, installed and operated the complete event production package, covering structures, LED video, audio, lighting and technical rider requirements.
Our services included:
The large-format LED screen was positioned three metres above ground level, providing strong visibility throughout the outdoor site. A separate 8m x 6m Layher structure provided a dedicated covered performance area, complete with stage infill and a bespoke weatherproof roof and sides.
For audio, Bigabox supplied a full D&B system suitable for the 5,000-capacity space, while the lighting package incorporated Chauvet Rogue Outcast 1 BeamWash, Clay Paky Ultimo Sharpy, Chauvet Strike Array 2C, Ovation Fresnel F-415FC and Chauvet Maverick Storm 2 Profile fixtures.
Beyond the initial installation, our team remained responsible for the technical delivery throughout the five-week programme, managing additional artist riders and operating the production for live World Cup broadcasts, DJs, bands and other performances.
The result was a flexible outdoor event production solution capable of transitioning between large-scale live sports screenings and live entertainment while maintaining consistent technical delivery throughout the event.
